Zdeněk Klauda

in 2005 he graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Since then he has been employed at the National Theatre in Prague, currently as the Assistant Conductor and Head of Music. As a composer he is being published, among others, by the American Alliance publications, Inc. In 2008 he was invited to stage Antonín Dvořák’s Rusalka at the Salzburger Festspiele. Since then he has been a regular guest at prestigious European opera houses, such as the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, the Opera Valencia or the Opera National de Paris. In 2012 he participated in staging Leoš Janáček’s Cunning Little Vixen for the legendary Glyndebourne Festival Opera and Mozart`s The Marriage of Figaro the following year. In 2013 he was also awarded the third price at a conducting competition in Romania. As Assistant Conductor he worked with Franz Welser-Möst, Kyril Peterenko, Vladimir Jurowski and Tomáš Netopil, among others.
